Player/Club Agreement
 
As a player of Cross Gates Lions FC I agree to the following:
 
Matches:
 
I will abide by the FA Respect Code of Conduct
 
I will follow instructions given by the Coach or Assistant Coach
 
I will always put in maximum effort
 
I will not resort to dirty or unfair play
 
I will make every effort to arrive at least 30minutes before the kick off time.
 
I will be gracious in defeat and victory.
 
I will take part in all warm ups and warm downs as required.
 
I will assist in setting up or packing away equipment when requested.
 
Wherever and as soon as possible I will notify the coach if I am unable to play in any fixture.
 
Training:
 
I will make every effort to arrive at least 5 minutes early before the start of training.
 
I will make very effort to attend all training sessions. (Injuries/illness excepted)
 
I will follow instructions given at training.
 
I will not waste any of the time available at training.
 
I will put in maximum effort at all times during training.
 
I will assist in setting out or putting away equipment when requested.
 
Wherever and as soon as possible I will notify the coach if I will be late or unable to attend training. 
 
  
General:
 
I will show respect at all times, to fellow players, Coaches, Officials, spectators and opponents.
 
I will ensure my subscriptions to the Club are paid on time. If I have any difficulty in making payment I will advise the coach.
 
I will ensure any outstanding fines or fees as a result of Yellow or Red cards which have been paid by the Club to the FA are reimbursed within 7 days of being notified.
 
I will look after any Club kit in my keeping and return when requested.
 
I will not bring the Club’s name into disrepute at any time.
 
I will maintain a good standard of fitness.
 
I will ensure the Club have up to date contact details for me and my emergency contacts.
 
I accept I am a part of team. As such all my efforts at training and during matches will be not only to improve my own standard but that of the whole team.
 
In return the Club will:
 
Provide Coaching
 
Provide facilities/equipment to train.
 
Regular match play.
 
Kit where required.
 
Treat all players with respect and listen to their comments, ideas and views.
 
 
I agree to abide by the above conditions and understand that if I fail to do so the Club may make temporary or permanent sanctions including exclusion from training/playing.
